NTRU Speaker to Highlight Efficient Cryptography at 2003 RSA Conference

Presentations to Focus on the Critical Role of Powerful, Small, Efficient Security In Bringing Next-Generation Secure Applications to Market

Burlington, Mass. - March 15, 2003 - NTRU, the embedded security experts today announced that Dr. William Whyte, NTRU's Director of R & D will speak at the 2003 RSA Conference. Dr. Whyte who will speak on the cryptographer's track will introduce NTRUSign; an efficient signature scheme based on the NTRU technology.

"Security is a huge concern in today's wired community," said Whyte. "The two major tools available to cryptographic protocol designers are encryption and signature schemes. In order for security to be placed seamlessly over applications it is very important that these underlying algorithms are fast and secure."

Whyte will specify the details of NTRUSign; a secure signature scheme based on NTRU technology. The talk will explain the mathematics underlying the NTRU suite of algorithms, and show how one can produce a digital signature algorithm using these ideas.
