Jeremy Wyant of NTRU Presents: Securing Digital Media as Speaker at the 2002 RSA Conference Presentation on Protecting Digital Content Management and Distribution; Powerful, Small, Efficient Security is Critical Burlington, Mass. - January 29, 2002 - NTRU, the only provider of strong security that fits everywhere, today announced that Jeremy Wyant, product manager for cryptographic applications for NTRU will speak about the application of next-generation security technology to enable high performance, digital rights management (DRM) solutions at the 2002 RSA Conference. NTRU delivers strong, high-speed, small footprint security that protects high-value content and provides a compelling user experience. "Large content owners in the entertainment industry have a very strong interest in securing their content throughout the entire value chain. However, if the security involved is too costly, too slow or too complex, consumers just won't use it," said Jeremy Wyant. "Developers of security technology and digital media distribution architectures now have the opportunity to create a framework that can balance the needs of both content owners and consumers in a way that allows this industry to meet its potential." Wyant will describe the trends in content protection technology, the challenges content owners, producers and distributors currently face, and how a properly secured DRM system can address these challenges. He will also examine why DRM systems must be protected by high performance security that is also small enough to operate on portable consumer devices.
Jeremy Wyant's primary areas of focus at NTRU include developing products for strong authentication and confidentiality services in very constrained devices, like consumer electronic products and end user identity tokens. In this role, he consults with customers and partners to develop next-generation security solutions with NTRU's high performance public key technology. Prior to joining NTRU, Wyant held senior business development and technical positions in the security field at Baltimore Technologies, Inc., GTE CyberTrust and GTE Government Systems. At Baltimore and CyberTrust he worked with a wide range of financial, healthcare and telecommunications customers on public key products and services. About NTRU NTRU is the only provider of strong security that fits everywhere.
