CEES Hosts Industry Symposium on Embedded Security

MasterCard International, NTRU, RSA Security to Shape Discussions on Interoperable Security Standards for Wireless Applications and Devices

WHAT
MasterCard International, NTRU and RSA Security will gather in Boston on July 10th for an open Symposium on embedded security. The event, hosted by the Consortium for Efficient Embedded Security (CEES) will discuss Security Ownership & Trust Models for Securing Consumer Applications. The Symposium is the first formal event for CEES, which focuses on addressing embedded security challenges, security models for mass-market systems and usage scenarios for secure devices and applications.

This meeting brings together recognized experts and executives from the cryptographic, infrastructure developer, equipment manufacturer, content owner, and semiconductor manufacturer industries to discuss the usage and security requirements in emerging consumer applications and devices. This daylong event will address security and trust models for mass-market secure systems, roles of the manufacturer, merchant, content owner and device owner, and supported security algorithms and protocols.
